Trash the Dress

Amber and I had a blast shooting her Trash the Dress session!!  Amber had more reasons than I expected to really "trash" this beautiful dress!  The dress was amazing...but, her wedding story (reception?) was not...with wine stains to prove it :(.

With great pleasure, I had the opportunity to photograph Chris Dunn, an Atlanta freelance guitarist.  We had a very interesting few hours together...that included trespassing on abandoned property, then meeting the site owner AND his son (yes, they actually drove by!!), and lastly...breaking a Nikon flash unit :(.  Eventful...hahaha!!  The pics below are just a glimpse of our session.  Chris will choose his favorites for his promotional needs.  Thank you, Chris, for choosing me to help represent you!

 

Madonna Session for Belle :)

Two weeks after Belle's newborn shoot, I came back to do her Madonna Session (meaning...mom and baby).  Belle was 4 weeks old, but we were still able to capture how small she is...and her cute little butt!!

baby Belle

I love referrals!!  Baby Belle is the neice of a very close friend, Julie.  I fell in love with her right away.  Maybe it is because of the overwhelming happiness that everyone had as I walked in the door, or just because she is so cute...but, it was my absolute pleasure to photograph her at two weeks old.  Fortunately we got the session in early enough...since the original session was scheduled on the city's February snow day :).  Enjoy a sneak peek of Belle's photos!!  And congratulations to mom and dad on their first born blessing!

Kendyl

eeek....I'm so bad about blog updates :(.  But good thing is that I've been extremely busy!  I've had many new baby sessions recently, and this one started off 2010 :).  Meet Kendyl!  I'm lucky to be able to watch this little girl grow weekly, as mommy and daddy attend Freedom Church!!  Daddy actually went to high school with me!

WOW!!  Alot to be thankful for in 2009!  First and foremost, the best friends and family that anyone could ever want!  I receive so much support and appreciation from you all...and it definitely keeps me motivated!!  I had a great holiday and New Year season, but I'm ready to bring on 2010!! 

January is half over already!!  Amazing how time flies!?!  On January 2nd, I had the priviledge of photographing Billy and Mallory's wedding!!  You guess it...it was FREEZING...but, you'd never know it by the photos :).  Congrats to you both!!  I can't wait to finish editing and show off some fabulous photos!  (and special thanks to Scott for all your help!)

Last week, my photos were featured on the cover and main inside spread of AroundAbout Acworth magazine!  My second cover!!!  Thanks to Freedom Church and our awesome partners for the opportunity to spread God's word through photography and our city!

Many new things in store for the new year...including new designs for birth announcements, cards, gift certificates, etc.  Just a few more days, and I'll get it all posted for you!
